One approach, several versions
Carbohydrate reduction can take different forms. Not all aim for ketosis or eliminate the same foods. Rather than copying another person’s number, decide with your team what to change and how you will assess whether it works.
A practical first step can be measuring drinks, sauces and sides in a usual meal. This reveals where carbohydrates are concentrated without changing your entire diet in one day.
Build a repeatable meal
Choose a protein source, a side that fits your plan and a measured amount of fat or dressing. La Mesa shows the serving for each preparation; combining recipes requires adding their amounts.
- Write down your schedule and foods you enjoy cooking.
- Plan an alternative for long workdays.
- If you use diabetes medication, consult before a major reduction.
- Assess outcomes and tolerance, not just one day’s weight.
