Look at the whole meal
Protein, texture, volume, fiber when appropriate and time to eat affect satiety. Two meals with similar calories may feel different. Do not use a single number to decide whether a preparation suits you.
Keto does not mean unlimited: oils, cheese, nuts and desserts can easily add energy. Serve one portion first and see how it works in your day.
Useful follow-up
Weight varies with fluids and other factors; a single measurement does not tell the whole story. Bring useful observations: hunger, energy, tolerance, timing, activity and changes you have maintained.
- Avoid promises of a fixed number of pounds lost per week.
- Discuss specific challenges: late dinners, snacking or limited time.
- With weight-management medication, also review tolerance and ability to eat adequately.
- Do not let one different day become a reason to abandon the whole plan.
